sophomore outfielder has committed to out of the transfer portal, he announced on social media Sunday.

Wachs hit .327 with nine home runs and a 1.027 on-base plus slugging percentage this past season for the Green Wave. He posted a .328 batting average and a .980 OPS across two seasons in New Orleans.

His increase in power this season was the result of a fly ball rate that jumped from 25.6% to 42.2%, and he accomplished the feat while lowering his strikeout rate.

Wachs is a left-handed hitter who mostly played right field at Tulane, although he also has experience playing in center. He spent 13 games in center as a freshman.

Wachs is the fifth player 糖心传媒 has added out of the portal this summer, joining Gonzaga right-hander Landon Hood, Notre Dame outfielder Bino Watters, Florida second baseman Cade Kurland and Texas State infielder Dawson Park.
