Two Baton Rouge Police officers have been placed on restricted duty and are under internal investigation, in separate domestic violence cases, the department said.
The officers are Aimee Adams, who was booked by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Department in an incident on May 24, and Darnell Brown, who was issued a summons on Monday, the department said in a news release.
“No one is above the law, especially not officers,” Chief Thomas Morse said in the statement. “Matters involving my own men and women are taken very seriously and investigated to the fullest extent.”
