Music in the Park
Jambalaya Park will host Music in the Park from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. May 17 featuring Mariachi Espartonos and Down Beat.
The Gonzales Committee on Cultural Affairs is sponsoring the event.
Boogie Down the Bayou
The Mojoes and Mike Broussard and Night Train will perform from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 17 at the Gonzales VFW Post Hall on Churchpoint Road.
The event benefits the Tunnels to Towers Fund and is sponsored by Louisiana VFW District 8.
Food distributions set
Ascension Parish's commodity distribution is set for the second Tuesday of each month in Donaldsonville and the second Wednesday of the month in Gonzales.
Distributions are from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Frank Sotile Jr. Pavilion in Donaldsonville and the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales.
