Marco’s Pizza will open a Lafayette location along Johnston Street in The Forum development.
The brand was approved for a building permit by Lafayette Consolidated Government for the space at 4533 Johnston St., Suite 201, records show.
The site is next door to the Jersey Mike’s Subs.
Marco’s earlier opened a location in Youngsville at 1001 Savoy Road, Unit 6.
Marco’s has over 1,200 locations in over 35 states and other countries. It is known for its dough made from scratch and its three fresh signature cheeses.
In March company officials announced plans to open 80 locations across the country after opening 60 last year, reports indicate.
