A new locally owned microbrewery is preparing to open in Youngsville, bringing small-batch craft beer and a neighborhood taproom concept to Savoy Road.
is under construction at 1001 Savoy Road, next to Marco's Pizza. The brewery is founded by New Orleans native David Lafranca, who says he developed an interest in craft brewing while living in Colorado before returning to Louisiana in 2021.
According to information published by the company, Fête Brewing will operate as a small-scale taproom brewery focused on brewing and serving beer on-site rather than distributing products through retail stores.
The brewery will feature a 7-barrel brewing system capable of producing about 200 gallons of beer per batch. Customers will be able to view the brewing equipment from the taproom, including stainless steel fermentation tanks used in the production process.
Initial plans call for five to six house-brewed beers when the brewery opens, with additional offerings expected as production expands. Planned styles include Kölsch-style ales, pale ales, India pale ales, amber ales, lagers, seasonal selections and darker beers such as a black lager and oatmeal milk stout.
The business does not plan to serve food but is located within walking distance of several nearby restaurants and businesses in the surrounding development.
In addition to serving beer, Fête Brewing plans to host community-focused events, including game nights and cycling-themed gatherings.
Construction is ongoing, and an opening date has not yet been announced.
Additional information about the project is available through the brewery's website and social media channels.
